Last updated Mar 2, 2010 OverviewThe following Privacy Policy summarizes what personal information Whitefire Marketing uses, how we use it, and how we protect your privacy. The privacy policy can always be found at http://www.whitefiremarketing.com/privacy. The privacy policy may be modified from time to time. The most recent revision date will appear at the top of this page. Your continued access and usage of the Website constitutes your acceptance of any changes to the Privacy Policy. What information is collected & why it’s collected?Like nearly all websites, our servers collect generic usage information relating to each visit and page view including: type of browser software, operating system, referral website, each page you visit, and Internet Protocol (IP) address. We use browser and operating system information to help focus our quality assurance efforts on the platforms used by our customers. We use referral website and page visitation data to determine where our visitors are coming from and what they find interesting. We use IP information to obtain general geographic profile information (ie: how many people come from which cities) – note that we do not obtain any personal information such as name, physical address, phone number, etc. from your IP address. For those visitors who register accounts on our site, we collect a small set of contact and business information directly from you including your name and email address. This information, and any further information such as mailing address, billing information, etc. which we collect from you is always collected for the express purpose of doing business directly with you. What do we do with your information & how do we protect it?We will never share your personal or business information with a third party without your approval. We use it purely for internal business purposes. As an example, when you set up an Ad stream on your own Facebook page, we treat this as you giving us approval to share the specified Ad with Facebook for the purposes of publishing it on your page. Similarly, when you setup connections with multiple social media services and then send notifications, we treat this as approval to send your specified data to those social media services. In both cases, you as the user are always the one initiating the transfer of information and thereby approving the transfer. Whenever you send data through Whitefire to a third-party service, the data sent will automatically fall under the control and privacy conditions of the third-party service. To protect the data you share with us, we operate our website using web application access control standards and server security techniques to protect your information from being mistakenly or maliciously compromised. If you have any concerns or questions about any aspect of this policy, please feel free to contact us.
